Sacredness, Synchronicity, & Surprise:
Exploring the Treasures of SoulCollage®
A Three Day Retreat with Anne Marie Bennett
July 28-30, 2017
Come in July 27 (Thurs evening),'
leave July 31 (Mon AM)
Seena Frost, birth mother to SoulCollage®, often talked about the Three S’s of this beautiful process. During this nurturing, soul-full retreat, we will focus our card making and journaling on these Three S’s: Sacredness, Synchronicity, and Surprise.
Give yourself the restful space and time of three wonder-full days with other kindred, creative spirits who love SoulCollage® like you do! We’ll explore the sacredness of SoulCollage® by surrounding ourselves with the Transpersonal energy of Source, SoulEssence and Witness. We’ll also explore and share the meaning and power of synchronicity (which Carl Jung called “meaningful coincidences”) during our card making and card readings, and delight in the joyful surprises that weave themselves through the SoulCollage® process.
A short intro with anyone new to SoulCollage® to get started on card making, while experienced SoulCollage® folks can start right in!
"Sacredness" A presentation and discussion on the Transpersonal cards/energies. Card making
"Surprise" A presentation and discussion on The Fool archetype. Card making.
"Synchronicity" A discussion on the real magic of SoulCollage®! Card making.
Sat. evening small group readings, where we will experience all 3 S's at once!
a Gallery Walk
Small group discussions
A lovely Closing Circle.

The Venue--Rose Villa Retreat Center
We meet for these three days (plus the evening before and the morning after to accommodate travel and to make sure you don't miss a thing!) in a sweet little retreat center in Laingsburg, Michigan, to play and learn—low pressure. The retreat is a craft retreat which allows us to keep our stuff set up for the entire time and to work anytime we feel like it—day or night. Rose Villa Retreat Center is the most unlikely place to hold a stellar retreat--a two-story storefront space in a tiny rural town--but you will be happy here, and delighted with how well it works.
Because the venue accommodates only 14, workshops are intimate and lush, with lots of time to learn from our teacher and each other. We build in time to relax, too!
Your registration fee includes your room, breakfasts and plenty of snacks. We are literally steps from several restaurants (not particularly fancy, but good enough ) There are fancier ones about ½ hour away in Lansing, or St Johns.
The town is safe and small. There is a post office, hardware store, library, several churches, a gas station, a nice park and a boutique brewery (if you like that sort of thing!) all within blocks. Sleepy Hollow State park is three miles away.
There is a full kitchen at the Rose Villa, so you have the option to bring food or shop nearby for food for lunches and dinners.
Rooms are 2-3 per room and comfortable. There are 5 beds available on the main floor, so if you must avoid stairs, please let me know ASAP
We can pick people up from Flint or Lansing Airports. If you are coming from Detroit Airport, you will need to rent a car or take the Michigan Flyer. In the past there has been carpooling.
We will have a closed FB group once you sign up, so arrangements and updates happen there.
Fee for the Workshop is $435.
Included in your registration:
*Three full days with Anne Marie Bennett
*Your accommodations from Thursday evening through Monday morning.
*Breakfasts and snacks every day
NOTE: We will supply LOTS of magazines!!!! (So you don't have to bring images if you don't want to!!)
A $15 Supply fee will be due at the workshop and will include 10 card backs, glue, a glue stick and 10 clear envelopes for cards. More will be available for sale at the workshop if you need them, or bring your own if you wish to.
Registration is made through the "Store" page on the website.
You will receive an email receipt for your registration and you will be invited to the closed Facebook group when registration is received.
The workshop size is limited, and registration is accepted in order received.
Please NOTE: There will be no refunds available after May 1, 2017.
